Gertrude A. “Bea” Dent
Gertrude A. “Bea” Dent, 86 of Richeyville, PA died Saturday January 5, 2013 in Mon Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born June 26, 1926 in Monongahela, PA a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Prosser Miller.
A lifelong resident of Richeyville, she was an active lifelong member of the Richeyville Community Church and was a member of the Hancock-McCune-Horn American Legion Post 705 Ladies Auxiliary.
Spending time with her family brought her special joy.
On July 7, 1947 she married William B. Dent, Jr. who died May 25, 1999.
Surviving is a grandson – Kenneth Waters, Jr. and his wife Sara of Pittsburgh, PA; one grandson – Ryan Waters; one brother – Donald Miller of Bakersfield, CA; one son-in- law- Kenneth Waters Sr. of Richeyville, Several nieces and nephews
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband is a daughter – Elizabeth Jean Waters who died May 31, 2012; one sister – Elizabeth Jean Raytek; two brothers – Robert and Jack Miller.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA where services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday January 9, 2013 with Pastor Glenn A. Sanders officiating.
